Required Job Functions:
Works safely, Excellent communication skills. General clerical skills such as filing and data entry. Customer service in person and/or via phone. Great attention to detail . Maintain paperwork per Lowe's standards . Summarize data from reports. Meets safety, accuracy, attendance, and production standards for all assignments. Maintains assigned work area free of debris and spills using standard cleaning supplies. Reports to supervision any evidence of theft or inappropriate diversion of merchandise or property, safety violations, any evidence of alcohol or drug abuse, or any violations of Lowe's policies, rules, regulations, or procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak read/understand and write the English language sufficiently to communicate and identify in formation given over the phone by stores, vendors, drivers, etc., and communicate effectively with visitors. Ability to learn and perform with minimal supervision the essential job functions. Ability to work eight or more hours with two 15 minute breaks and one 30-minute meal period. Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and to have computer knowledge and skills to learn to use other computer software . Ability to comprehend Lowe's mission and goals, and the role of the team member in achieving them. Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously while still being detail oriented. Willing to learn to drive a golf cart and to work in different weather conditions outside the office. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds. Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem solving
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated adherence to safety requirements. Basic math and reading comprehension. Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously while still being detail-oriented . Copes positively in high-stress work environment. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Strong communication and people skills. Approaches change optimistically; adjusts proficiently to changing work environments. Effectively prioritizes work and ssesses time management skills. Highly motivated to Operation's success; goal-oriented
Helpful but not necessary:
Transportation/Load Planning experience. Inventory procedures, processes. Acc ounting. WMS/TMS/Smart
Bench. Receiving/shipping. Bilingual English/Spanish.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
