DC General Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator I

Job Description:
Warehouse Associates at Ferguson:
+ Receive supplier shipments
+ Pick customer orders
+ Ship, transport and deliver material and customer orders
+ Operate forklifts or other equipment
+ Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.
+ Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations and procedures
Qualifications
A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
The Ideal Warehouse Associate will possess the following:
+ Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
+ Prior experience with production/goal oriented standards
+ General computer and math skills
+ Warehouse equipment experience required (forklift or heavy equipment)
+ Ability to lift 20-70lbs consistently and 100lbs occasionally
+ Experience with heights up to 40 ft preferred
+ Willingness to learn and be trained
+ Experience with Standup Forklift preferred
Benefits & Wage:
$15.00 (to start)/hr? Fulltime positions require 40 hours per week plus overtime hours as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
